Comedy Nite
The Broolawn Fire Dept. . is hosting their Comedy Nite. This will be held on October 4, 2008 at 2000 hours. Doors open at 1900 hours.. For more information contact the Brooklawn FC for tickets and details.

Safety House Appointments
Companies wanting to utilize the Fire Safety House during the Fire Prevention week, must make an appointment for this unit. Dues to the Association must be paid to date, and appointments will be on a first come, first served basis as usual. Contact Paul Kormann at the Fire Training Acaademy (856-374-6167) for details.

Fire Prevention Programs
The Camden County Vol. FF Canteen Association needs to have the Companies/Departments who plan to have open house for Fire Prevention Week, and plan to have the Canteen present to help make it a successful night, set up the date and times with the Canteen Association. Please call the President at 856-933-2311, and leave a message. She will have the call returned to set up the times needed for them to be there.

Halloween Beef N Beer Party
The Gibbsboro Fire Co. will host a Halloween Party on October 25, 2008, from 2000 hours to 2400 hours. Donation will be $20.00 person, in advance, $25.00 at the door. Contact any member for tickets or stop at the station.

Memorial Moument Update
The Memorial Monument that this Association has plans to build, is now a reality, and the land across from the entrance of the new Training Academy in Lakeland, has been given a lease by the Camden County Freeholders. Construction plans are being worked on and all donations are being accepted for this project. Paver bricks are available as well as other items are up for donations. October 2008 Meeting
The October 2008 meeting of the Camden County Firemens Assn. will be held on October 29, at the Delaware Gardens FC (station 11-4) in Pennsauken. Meeting will start at 2000 hours. Looking forward to seeing all Delegates and Life Members attending.

Memorial Moument Fund Raiser
The Camden County Firemens Assn. will hold a benefit to raise funds for the proposed Memorial Monument that will be consructed at the Fire Academy in Lakeland. The fund-raiser will be held on November 11,2008 at the Coast Line Restaurant and Bar on Brace Rd. in Cherry Hill. The benefit will be from 1900 to 2100 hours, with open bar and buffet. Donation is $10.00 per person. Tickets can be purchased in advance from any Officer in the Association and at the October meeting. All proceeds go to the Monument construction.
